Sits near the Cosgrove Iron Trunk Aqueduct, which carries the canal over the River Great Ouse — an early cast-iron aqueduct built in 1811 to replace an earlier stone structure that had collapsed. Part of the original Grand Junction Canal, opened in the 1790s.
